Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What are BitsBins, exactly?

BitsBins are modular plastic containers designed to organize all your board game components—cards, tokens, tiles, dice, you name it. They’re stackable, durable, and fit right into your game box and you can use them during game play to keep your table nice and neat!

2. How do I know which sizes I need?

This can be the trickiest part about starting out with BitsBins! Our suggestion is to either start with our Sampler Set which includes six of our most popular sizes so you can test them out with your own games. Or find a couple Game Sets for games you already have, these curated sets will give you an idea of the sizes and how BitsBins can work to organize almost any game.

3. Will BitsBins fit in my game box?

We design BitsBins to fit in most game boxes. They’re compact, stackable, and come in a variety of shapes and sizes to suit different components. We also have curated sets for specific games—just check the product page!

4. Can I use them during gameplay, or are they just for storage?

Absolutely use them on the table! That’s one of their best features. Pull them out of the box and place them right on the table—no extra setup fuss. Cards, resources, and tokens stay tidy and within reach.

5. Are BitsBins compatible with sleeved cards?

Yes! Our Card Boxes are designed to accommodate both unsleeved and sleeved cards, as long as the sleeves are not bigger than 66mm x 91mm.  We even have boxes that fit Tarot and oversized cards.

6. What games do BitsBins work with?

Lots! Some fan favorites include Ark Nova, Quacks of Quedlinburg, Terraforming Mars, Ticket to Ride, Betrayal at House on the Hill, and Wyrmspan. We also have card box options for classics like Uno, Phase 10, and Magic: The Gathering.

7. Do you sell game-specific sets?

Yep! We have curated packs for popular games. These sets are individually created (thanks Grant!) to fit the components of the game and make organizing your desired game easy peasy.

8. Can I label my BitsBins?

You sure can. Many customers use stickers or sharpie markers to indicate what goes in each bin.

9. How do I order?

Just head to BitsBinsOnline.com, browse by container size or game set, and add to cart. Don’t forget to sign up to get a FREE Sampler Set if you are new to BitsBins!

10. Where do you ship?

We currently ship across the U.S and we do have some International shipping options (although they can end up being quite expensive). If you want us to add your country as a shipping option, just reach out!

11. How long does shipping take?

Orders usually ship out within 1–3 business days. Delivery times depend on your location, but most orders arrive within a week.

12. What’s your return policy?

Not loving your BitsBins? Contact us within 30 days of delivery. We’ll help you sort it out—because we want you to be satisfied with your purchase

13. What if my BitsBins arrive damaged?

Bummer! If anything gets damaged in shipping, we’ll replace it for free—no hassle, no drama. Just send us a photo and we’ll get a new one headed your way!

14. Do you replace worn-out or broken containers?

Yep! If a BitsBin breaks or wears out from normal use, we’ll replace it for free. We stand by our bins—because game night shouldn’t involve cracked plastic or sad little lids that don’t click shut anymore.

15. Are BitsBins made from safe materials?

Yes! Our containers are made from high-quality, food safe, BPA-free plastic. They’re durable enough to survive repeated game nights, kids, and probably a rogue meeple toss.

16. Why organize my games at all?

Because an unorganized game box may just be enough to not want to play the game at all.  BitsBins speed up setup, simplify cleanup, and make gameplay smoother. More time spent playing and less time wasted.

17. Will BitsBins improve my win rate?

We make no promises. But you will look extremely put together even if you are losing.
